<br />",.J,. <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />":.DES.: yc: 11/18/68 <br /> <br />.~. -\ <br /> <br />. - QRIGINfli . <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />- . <br /> <br />NO. .sS'.!J ~ <br /> <br />, ~GV 18 .. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAN AND PROPOSED <br />TIME SCHEDULE FOR INITIAL STAGE OF STRATEGIC <br />CONSOLIDATION SEWAGE PLAN; AND DIRECTING TRANSMITTAL <br />OF SAID PLAN AND SCHEDULE TO SAN FRANCISCO BAY <br />REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control <br /> <br />Board, at its meeting of Augu~t 28, 1968,. adopted a motion <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />requiring the cities of Redwood City, San Carlos and Belmont, <br /> <br />each, to submit a preliminary plan and cost estimate for sewage <br /> <br />treatment and disposal facilities, a plan for securing necessary <br /> <br />financing for such facilities, and a schedule of dates for planning~ <br /> <br />financing and constructing such facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said plans have been prepared and submitted <br /> <br />to the Councils of the cities of Redwood City, San Carlos <br /> <br />and Belmont; and <br /> <br />.- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the steering committee of the Strategic Consolida- <br /> <br />tion Sewage Plan has prepared and submitted a recommended time <br /> <br /> <br />schedule for the construction of the initial stage of said project: . <br /> <br />-..I <br /> <br />,\ <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council, in compliance with the aforesaid <br /> <br />motion of the Regional Water Quality Control Board, desires to <br /> <br />approve said plans and schedule, state its financial capabilities <br /> <br />relating to said project, and direct .thetransmittal of said plans, <br /> <br /> <br />schedule and information to the San Francisco Bay Regional Water <br /> <br />Quality Control Board; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
