OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND, ORDERING POSTING <br />OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, portions of Charter, Chew and Manzanita Streets in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, dedicated as public streets are not <br /> <br />needed for present or prospective street purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends <br /> <br />to vacate and abandon said portions of Charter, Chew and Manzanita <br /> <br />streets pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of <br /> <br />the streets and Highways. Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />portions of Charter, Chew and Manzanita Streets, as herein- <br /> <br />after described, and elects to proceed with such vacation and <br /> <br />abandonment pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The portions of Charter, C~ew and Manzanita Streets <br /> <br />to be vacated are as indicated on plats on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, entitled IIAbandonment of a Portion of Charter <br /> <br />Street,lI "Abandonment of Portions of Chew St. and Charter St.,1I <br /> <br />and IIAbandonment of Portions of Chew st. and Manzanita st.1I <br /> <br />dated October 14, 1968, and, together with the easements excepted <br /> <br />and reserved therefrom, are more particularly described as <br /> <br />, follows: <br />
