ROBERT STALLINGS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, E. Robert Stallings has well and faithfully served <br /> <br />the County of San Mateo and this community as County Manager for <br /> <br />18 years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bob Stallings has devoted some 32 years to serving <br /> <br />the public, both as County Manager, aforesaid, and as a public <br /> <br />administrator: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bob Stallings has tendered his resignation to the <br /> <br />Board of supervisors of San Mateo County to be effective January 1, <br /> <br />1969, thereby bringing to a close his years of effective community <br /> <br />leadership as County Manager: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to commend Bob stallings for <br /> <br />his service as County Manager, to express its appreciation for <br /> <br />his leadership in, and contributions to, community development, <br /> <br />and to extend its best wishes for his future endeavors; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That E. Robert Stallings is hereby commended for his <br /> <br />professional ability, leadership, and competence in the performance <br /> <br />of his duties as County Manager of the County of San Mateo. <br /> <br />2. That this Council, on behalf of itself and the citizens <br /> <br />of this Community, does hereby express its appreciation for the <br /> <br />many contributions to community development made by Bob Stallings <br /> <br />during his public service, and hereby extends its best wishes <br /> <br />for his future endeavors. <br /> <br />3.
