<br />.f <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />ItOIJ 4 '65 <br /> <br />DES:yc:ll/l/68 <br /> <br />~ i ...~. ~."~, - ~ <br /> <br />Oi\.~; \.t.L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />NO..S!lJP <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF MUNICIPAL MARINA FISHING PIERi <br />AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO READVERTISE FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5782, adopted September 16, <br />1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of a <br /> <br />fishing pier at the Municipal Marina: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />reject all of said bids, and to authorize the City Clerk to <br /> <br />readvertise for bids for the performance of said work: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. All bids received by the City of Redwood City, opened <br /> <br />October 16, 1968, for the construction of a fishing pier at the <br /> <br />Municipal Marina, in accordance with the specifications and <br /> <br />contract documents on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />are hereby rejected, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to <br /> <br />return to said bidders all security guaranteeing execution of <br /> <br />the contract upon award. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />readvertise for bids for the construction of a fishing pier at <br /> <br />the Municipal Marina, in accorance with the above mentioned <br /> <br />specifications therefor, said advertisement to be in the form <br /> <br />of that certain "Notice to Contractors" set forth in said <br /> <br />specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
