DES :al <br /> <br />lO/l8/68 <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L U T .!. 0 N N O. ~ OCT2l.68 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING <br />OF TWO AIR COMPRESSORS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5789, adopted September 23, <br /> <br />1968, the city Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of two air <br /> <br />compressors (trailer-mounted) to be used for municipal purposes: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the city Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, EDWARD R. BACON COMPANY, San Leandro, california, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Edward R. Bacon <br /> <br />company: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The bid of Edward R. Bacon company, in the total net delivered <br /> <br />price to the City of Redwood City of Eight Thousand Eight Hundred <br /> <br /> <br />Fourteen and 25/l00 Dollars ($8,8l4.25), for the furnishing of two <br /> <br />air compressors (trailer-mounted), in accordance with the speci- <br /> <br />fications therefor, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
