<br />,..... <br /> <br />~ <br />.I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />DES:dm 10/3/68 <br />. <br /> <br />;" <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ocr '2' .~ <br /> <br />NO. . ~-. .. ... <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />OF TENNIS COURTS FOR SPINAS PARK~ REJECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WO~Ki AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />~~REAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5781, adopted September <br /> <br />16, 1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of <br /> <br />tennis courts for Spinas Park in the City of Redwood City; and. <br /> <br />~VHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City.Clerk for the performance of said worki and <br /> <br />~mEREAS, Malott & Peterson-Grundy Inc., San Francisco, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Malott & Peterson-G~undy Inc., to waive any informality in the <br /> <br />'bid of the abovementioned low bidder, and to reject any and all <br /> <br />other bids received for said work; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDv.700D CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Malott & Peterson-Grundy I~c., in the total <br /> <br />amount of Fourteen Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-eight Dollars and <br /> <br />Three Cents ($14,658.03) for the construction of tennis courts <br /> <br />for Spinas Park, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated October 2, 1968, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph One hereof are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. Any informality in the abovementioned bid of Malott <br /> <br />& Peterson-Grundy "Inc. is hereby waived. <br />
