<br />"I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES: yc: 9/4/68 <br /> <br />RE~OLUT.!ON <br /> <br />N O. a'lll <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF TENNIS COURTS FOR SPINAS PARK; AND <br />AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />plans and specifications for the construction of tennis courts <br /> <br />for Spinas Park (Second Avenue between Broadway and Bay Road) in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br /> <br />signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the construction of said improvements; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Tennis Courts for Spinas <br /> <br />Park (2nd Ave. Between Bay Road & Broadway) ," and those certain <br /> <br />specifications entitled "General Specifications and Special <br /> <br />provisions for the Construction of Tennis Courts for Spinas Park <br /> <br />(2nd Ave. Between Broadway & Bay Road) in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, California," prepared in the office of the city Engineer <br /> <br />and on file in the office of the City Engineer, for the construction <br /> <br />of tennis courts for Spinas Park, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />call for bids for the construction of said improvements, in <br /> <br />accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, said <br /> <br />advertisement to be in the form of that certain IINotice to <br /> <br />Contractors" set forth in the above mentioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
