" t,. -;. .~ ,- D~ 1m: 9/12/68 RE~OLUT.!ON N o. 511' RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE SPUR TRACK EASEMENT WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this Council that the hereinafter described spur track easement is no longer necessary or needed for public municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, the spur track easement which is no longer necessary or needed for public municipal purposes is a portion of that spur track easement which was designated as such on that map entitled "Redwood Industrial Tract No.2," recorded in Book 35 of Maps at pages 3-6, in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, california, on April 30, 1952, and has not been used as such since that date; and WHEREAS, said spur track easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use; and WHEREAS; Ar.ticle 5 (commencing at ~50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code provides a procedure for the vacation of easements by local authorities; \ NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares its intention to abandon the hereinafter described spur track easement pursuant to the aforementioned Government Code provisions. 2. The above mentioned spur track easement which is to be abandoned is more particularly described as, follows: All of that 15.00 foot spur track easement in Lot 3 and Lot 6, Block 5, as said easement, lot, and block are shown on that map entitled "Redwood Industrial Tract No.2," recorded April 30, 1952, in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, in Volume 35 of Maps, at pages 3, 4, 5, and 6.
