<br />\ <br />\ <br />" . <br />" t,. <br />-;. <br />.~ ,- <br /> <br />D~ 1m: 9/12/68 <br /> <br />RE~OLUT.!ON <br /> <br />N o. 511' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE SPUR TRACK EASEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this Council <br /> <br />that the hereinafter described spur track easement is no longer <br /> <br />necessary or needed for public municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the spur track easement which is no longer necessary <br /> <br />or needed for public municipal purposes is a portion of that spur <br /> <br />track easement which was designated as such on that map entitled <br /> <br />"Redwood Industrial Tract No.2," recorded in Book 35 of Maps at <br /> <br />pages 3-6, in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, <br /> <br />california, on April 30, 1952, and has not been used as such since <br /> <br />that date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said spur track easement is unnecessary for present <br /> <br />or prospective public use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; Ar.ticle 5 (commencing at ~50430) of Chapter 2, <br /> <br />Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code provides a <br /> <br />procedure for the vacation of easements by local authorities; <br />\ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares <br /> <br />its intention to abandon the hereinafter described spur track <br /> <br />easement pursuant to the aforementioned Government Code provisions. <br /> <br />2. The above mentioned spur track easement which is to be <br /> <br />abandoned is more particularly described as, follows: <br /> <br />All of that 15.00 foot spur track easement in <br />Lot 3 and Lot 6, Block 5, as said easement, lot, <br />and block are shown on that map entitled <br />"Redwood Industrial Tract No.2," recorded <br />April 30, 1952, in the office of the Recorder <br />of San Mateo County, California, in Volume 35 <br />of Maps, at pages 3, 4, 5, and 6. <br />
