. .S: 1m: 7/18/68 RE~OLUT1.0N N o. $748 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SUP- PLEMENTARY AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE FAIR OAKS SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT PROVIDING FOR FURNISHING OF SANITARY SEWER FACILITIES TO TOWN OF WOODSIDE FOR AREA WITHIN REDWOOD CREEK WATERSHED WHEREAS, on the 15th day of July, 1947, an agreement was entered into by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo for and on behalf of the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance Dis- trict with the City of Redwood City for the joint construction and use of certain sanitary sewer facilities: and WHEREAS, said agreement provides that it may from time to time be changed, altered, amended, or supplemented by mutual agreement of the parties thereto: and WHEREAS, the Town of Woodside is desirous of having that portion of its area located within the general boundary of the Redwood Creek Watershed provided with sanitary sewer facilities: and WHEREAS, city and District have determined that the public interest will be best served by having the District provide the necessary sanitary sewer service for the said area: and WHEREAS, a supplemental agreement has been presented to this Council providing for the furnishing of sanitary sewer ser- vices for the said area, subject to certain terms and conditions: NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FILLOWS: That certain agreement entitled "Supplementary Agreement to Sanitary Sewerage Agreement between Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District and the city of Redwood City," a copy of which is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the Mayor of the City of Redwood City is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * *
