DES: 1m: 7/11/68 <br /> <br />RE~OLUT1.0N <br /> <br />N o. 51'1"- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LEASE OF PARKING FACILITIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No. 5732, adopted <br />June 24, 1968, bids were called for the proposed lease of city- <br />owned real property in the City of Redwood City, for vehicular <br />parking; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call one bid was received from <br />BALESTRA PONTIAC, a corporation, which bid complies in all <br />respects with the call for bids published pursuant to said <br />Resolution No. 5732; and <br />WHEREAS, Balestra Pontiac is the highest responsible bidder; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council finds that it is in the best interest <br />of the city of Redwood City to award said bid to said Balestra <br />Pontiac; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />The bid of 'BALESTRA PONTIAC, a corporation, dated June 27, <br />1968, in the amount of Five Thousand One Hundred Fifty Six Dollars <br />($5,156.00) per year, for a three year term, in accordance with <br />the terms and provisions specified in that certain lease agreement <br />entitled "Lease Agreement, parking Facilities" which lease <br />agreement was approved by the above mentioned Resolution No. 5732, <br />is hereby accepted and determined to be the highest responsible <br />bid, and the city Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute the lease agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
