<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:6/26/68 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. 5'7'1~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF MIDDLEFIELD ROAD WIDENING IMPROVEMENTS: <br />AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />plans and specifications for the construction of certain street <br /> <br />widening improvements for Middlefield Road between Charter Street <br /> <br />and Chestnut Street, in the City of Redwood City: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires <br /> <br />to signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk <br /> <br />to call for bids for the construction of said improvements: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Middlefield Road Widening <br /> <br />- Charter St. to Chestnut,1l and those certain specifications <br /> <br />entitled IlGeneral Specifications and Special provisions for <br /> <br />Middlefield Road Widening - Charter St. to Chestnut st.," <br /> <br />prepared in the office of the City Engineer and on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Engineer, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the construction of the above mentioned <br /> <br />improvements, in accordance with the plans and specifications <br /> <br />therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain <br /> <br />"Notice to Contractors" set forth in the above mentioned <br /> <br />specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
