<br />. <br /> <br />~G'NAL <br /> <br />DES:yc:6/6/68 <br /> <br />.lUil"68 <br /> <br />RE~OLUT.!ON <br /> <br />N O. 57~1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />FARM HILL BOULEVARD-WILMINGTON WAY WATER MAIN <br />CONNECTION; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK: <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5693, adopted May 13, <br />1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of <br /> <br />Farm Hill Boulevard - Wi1mington Way water main connection in <br /> <br />the City of RedwQod City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, WENRICK AND ASSOCIATES, Menlo Park, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Wenrick and <br /> <br />Associates: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Wenrick and Associates, in the total amount <br /> <br />of Thirty Thousand and Fifty-eight Dollars ($30,058.00), more <br /> <br />or less, computed in accordance with bidder1s proposal dated <br /> <br />June 4, 1968, for the construction of Farm Hill Boulevard - <br /> <br />Wilmington Way water main connection in the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />according to plans and specifications therefor, is hereby accepted <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br />
