<br />'-...... <br /> <br />DES.ek 6/6/68 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RE~OLUT.!.ON <br /> <br />N o. 51 I f <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION AND <br />CONSTRUCTION OF GAS AND DIESEL OIL DISPENSERS AT <br />FIRE STATION NO.1; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND, <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5687, adopted May 6, <br /> <br />1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the installation and <br /> <br />construction of gas and diesel oil dispensers at Fire Station <br /> <br />No.1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the performance of said work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ROBERT F. INGHAM, Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Robert F. Ingham; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of ROBERT F. INGHAM in the total lump sum <br /> <br />amount of Five Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($5,850.00) <br /> <br />for the installation and construction of gas and diesel oil <br /> <br />dispensers at Fire Station No. I, in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated June 2, 1968, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. Any informality in the above mentioned bid of Robert F. <br /> <br />Ingham is hereby waived. <br /> <br />4. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br />
