<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES.ek 6/7/68 <br /> <br />RE.20LUT1.0N <br /> <br />N o. <br /> <br />57/7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR RENTAL OF ADVERTISING <br />SPACE - MUNICIPAL TRANSIT SYSTEM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5698, adopted May 20, <br /> <br />1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the rental of adver- <br /> <br />tising space on vehicles of the Municipal Transit System; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call one bid was received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the rental of said sapce; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, FIRESIDE THRIFT CO., Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the highest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Fireside <br /> <br />Thrift Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The bid of FIRESIDE THRIFT CO. for the rental of adver- <br /> <br />tising space provided on the rear panels of the City's Municipal <br /> <br />Transit System vehicles, for a period of six months commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1968, and terminating December 31, 1968, at a total <br /> <br />monthly rental of two hundred sixteen dollars ($216.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with the bidder's prop~sal dated May 29, <br /> <br />1968, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to <br /> <br />be the highest responsible bidder for the rental of said space. <br /> <br />The contract documents shall consist of Notice of Sealed Bids, <br /> <br />Instructions to Bidders, and the Bidder's accepted Proposal. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
