<br />r <br />I <br /> <br />DES.ek 3/22/68 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RE..e.OLUT1.0N <br /> <br />N o. 5,,1/ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />FARM HILL BOULEVARD-NOB HILL ROAD AREA SUBDRAINAGE <br />PROJECT; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND, DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5620, adopted February 26, <br /> <br />1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of the <br /> <br />Farm Hill Boulevard-Nob Hill Road area subdrainage project in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CASE-PACIFIC COMPANY, Menlo Park, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Case-Pacific <br /> <br />Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of CASE-PACIFIC COMPANY, in the total amount <br /> <br />of Thirty-Seven Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-five Dollars ($37,655.00), <br /> <br />more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />March 20, 1968, for the construction of the subdrainage project <br /> <br />in the Farm Hill Boulevard-Nob Hill Road area in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, according to plans and specifications therefor, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br />
