<br />.~- ~ <br /> <br />.oJ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:S/20/68 <br /> <br />RE~OLUT1.0N <br /> <br />N O. 57dp <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE OF OPEN SPACE AND RECREATIONAL <br />LAND WITH COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to acquire two <br /> <br />parcels of land for use as open space and recreational land and <br /> <br />has requested the County of San Mateo to furnish financial <br /> <br />assistance in the purchasing of said property: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, t.her~'v:has' -been presented to this Council an agree- <br /> <br />ment by and between the City of Redwood City and the County of <br /> <br />San Mateo providing for limited financial assistance by the County <br /> <br />of San Mateo to the City of Redwood City in the acquisition of <br /> <br />the property as set forth in said agreement: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Purchase <br /> <br />of Open Space and Recreational Land Between the County of San <br /> <br />Mateo and the City of Redwood City," by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and the County of San Mateo, a copy of which agree- <br />ment is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is made for full particulars concerning the terms and <br /> <br />conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is hereby <br /> <br />authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
