REG:yc:D <br />R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N N O. <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY <br />IN CONNECTION WITH THE WIDENING OF JEFFERSON AVENUE <br />WHEREAS,, condemnation proceedings have been initiated by the <br />City of Redwood City to acquire parcels of real property necessary <br />for the widening of Jefferson Avenue between Franklin and Adams <br />Streets; and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with such widening, it is necessary <br />to acquire the hereinafter described property of A. H. Davies and <br />T. A. Davies; and <br />WHEREAS, said property owners have offered to sell the here- <br />inafter described property to the City for a total price of Seven <br />Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-three Dollars ($7,743.00) <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City Council of the City of Redwood City hereby <br />authorizes the acquisition of the hereinafter described real <br />property for the sum of Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-three <br />Dollars ($7,743.00), and hereby authorizes the City manager to <br />take such steps and to execute such agreements as may be neces- <br />sary to acquire the property for the above price. <br />2. The property to be acquired consists of four parcels <br />described as follows: <br />
