• <br />• <br />R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N N 0, <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br />PIED14ONT WAY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City did., in open <br />session, on May 3, 1961, publicly open, examine, and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing all the work and making all <br />the improvements described in Resolution of Intention No. 3351 <br />of said Council, passed and adopted by said Council on April 10, <br />1961, to which resolution reference is hereby made for further <br />particulars; <br />NOW., THEREFORE,, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY RESOLVES AS FOL- <br />LOWS: <br />1. That said Council hereby rejects all said proposals or <br />bids for doing the work of making the improvements described in <br />said Resolution of Intention No. 3351, except that next herein <br />mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and <br />making said improvements to the lowest., regular., responsible bidder., <br />to Wit: <br />C. J. Wood, Inc., Redwood City <br />at the prices named in <br />bid, their bid, to which bid reference is <br />hereby made further particulars. <br />V <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish a notice of <br />this award in the Redwood City Tribune., a daily newspaper (except <br />Sunday)., published., printed <br />and <br />circulated in said-City <br />of Redwood <br />City, and hereby designated <br />for <br />that purpose by the <br />Council of said <br />City. <br />
