• <br />• <br />(1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to <br />and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br />(2) That on March 13 <br />It 19 01 , this Council did adopt <br />its Resolution No. 3327 , entitled "Resolution of the Council of <br />the City of Redwood City Giving Notice of, and Declaring its In- <br />tention to, Initiate on its own Motion Proceedings to Annex to said <br />City certain Uninhabited Territory; Describing said Territory and <br />Designating it by the Name ' Beresford No . 1 <br />a <br />Giving its Reasons for Desiring said Annexation; Making Certain <br />Findings Respecting said Proceedings; and Giving Notice of the Time <br />and Place said Council will hear Protests to said Annexation," <br />wherein it gave notice of said proposed annexation, described said <br />territory and designated it by the above mentioned name, made cer- <br />tain findings respecting said proposal and gave notice of the time <br />and place this Council would hear protests thereto; and <br />(3) That less than twelve (12) registered voters resided <br />within said territory at the time the above mentioned resolution <br />was adopted by this Council, and that said territory is therefore <br />uninhabited; and <br />(4) That the City Clerk has caused a copy of said Resolution <br />No. 3327 to be published in the manner and within the time re- <br />quired by law, and has also caused written notice of such proposed <br />annexation to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom such <br />notice is required by law to be given; all in the manner and time <br />required by law; and <br />(5) That this Council did in said Resolution No. 3327 , set <br />and designate "a.4 ? , 19 61 at the hour of 8.00 p.m., <br />in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, <br />Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, as the day, hour and <br />!IPM <br />
