/fJ REG: yc:4/24/61 -7 <br />i r � � • <br />1 <br />RESOLUTION N0. 337 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR FURNISHING OF 3000 FEET <br />OF SIX -INCH TYTON CAST IRON PIPE, SEAL COATED, <br />CEMENT LINED, 1/16" THICKNESS OF CEMENT LINING <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City called for bids for the <br />furnishing of 3,000 feet of six -inch Tyton Cast Iron Pipe, seal <br />coated, cement lined, 1/16 -inch thickness of cement lining, <br />Class 150, Fed. Specs. �'VVP -421A; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br />with the City Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, UNITED STATES PIPE & FOUNDRY CO., 923 - 937 Monadnock <br />Building, San Francisco, is the lowest responsible bidder, and <br />it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid <br />to United States Pipe & Foundry Co., and reject all other bids <br />received; <br />NOW, THEREFORE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of United States Pipe & Foundry Co., in the <br />amount of Six Thousand One Hundred Fifteen and 20/100 Dollars <br />($ 6, ll5.20) , more or less, for the furnishing of 3,000 feet of <br />six -inch Tyton Cast Iron Pipe, seal coated, cement lined, 1/16 - <br />inch thickness of cement lining, Class 150, Fed. Specs. WWP -421A, <br />at the price quoted in its proposal dated April 12, 1961, is <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the construction of aforementioned work other than the bid <br />mentioned in paragraph 1, hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
