- DES:d~'~ /22/90 (008/26) <br /> <br />receive compensation in the amount of 25% of all unused <br />accrued sick leave, prorated to the date of termination; <br />provided, however, that no employee discharged from the <br />service of the Port shall be eligible for payment hereunder. <br /> <br /> (v) Overtime. The provisions of this subdivision (v) <br />shall not apply to the officers or employees specified in <br />subdivision (a) hereof. Compensation for overtime for said <br />the positions specified in (b) above, shall only be made <br />upon the specific authorization of the Port Executive <br />Director (Port Manager) and only for that overtime work <br />performed pursuant to direction of the Port Executive <br />Director (Port Manager) or the Port Executive Director's <br />(Port Manager's) designee. Authorized overtime shall be <br />compensated for in cash at one and one-half times the <br />employee's established rate of pay for such overtime hours <br />worked. The smallest unit of working time credited as <br />overtime shall be one-half hour. <br /> <br /> (vi) Holidays. Holidays for the Port of Redwood City <br />shall be: January 1; third Monday in February; last Monday <br />in May~ July 4; first Monday in September; September 9; <br />November 11; Thanksgiving Day; the day after Thanksgiving <br />Day; December 24; December 25; December 31; one day holiday, <br />to be determined administratively; and such other holidays <br />as may be proclaime~ local holidays. When any of the above <br />holidays fall on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be <br />considered the holiday, when any of the above <br /> <br /> <br />
