To be eligible for reimbursement of costs <br /> hereunder, courses of instruction must (a) require <br /> attendance at an accredited junior college, <br /> college, or university, (b) be a part of a <br /> curriculum leading toward a degree, or given by an <br /> accredited institution of learning, and (c) be <br /> approved in advance of enrollment by the Port <br /> Executive Director (Port Manager) or, in the case <br /> of the Port Executive Director (Port Manager), by <br /> the Board of Port Commissioners; and <br /> <br /> 3. Successful completion (with a grade of C, or <br /> equivalent, or higher) shall have been attained by <br /> such employee in each course for which <br /> reimbursement of costs is applied f~r hereunder. <br /> <br /> (ix) Vehicle Allowance. Notwithstanding the preamble <br /> of this subdivision (b) above, to the contrary, the Port <br /> Executive Director (Port Manager) shall receive a vehicle <br /> allowance in the amount of Four Hundred Twenty-five Dollars <br /> ($425.00) per month as compensation for the use of his or <br /> her personal vehicle for official Port business. <br /> <br /> 2. EFFECT. Benefits, including, but not limited to, those <br />benefits specified in paragraph 1 above, that may have been <br />contracted for by the City of Redwood City with third parties and <br />heretofore have included'Port officers or employees shall not be <br />deemed amended in any manner by this resolution. <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
