RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR RIGHT OF WAY APPRAISAL AND AC- QUISITION FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PORTION OF ALTAMONT WAY WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the improvement of Altamont Way in the City of Redwood City and it is the intention of this Council to initiate proceedings for such improvements in the near future; and WHEREAS, in connection with such improvements, it is necessary to acquire Lot 12, Block 11, Highlands of Emerald Lake Subdivision No. 1, located at Altamont Way, and that, in connection with such acquisition, it is necessary that appraisals be secured and services of a right of way agent obtained; and WHEREAS, D. S. Fabbro is skilled in the conduct of such ap- praisals and negotiations and is qualified to conduct the same for and in behalf of the City; and WHEREAS, in connection with the improvement of certain streets in the City of Redwood City (including Regent Street and Jefferson Avenue),, this Council has previously approved agreements between the City of Redwood City and D. S. Fabbro providing for personal services of D. S. Fabbro for the right of way appraisals and negotiations; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: In connection with Lot 12, Block 11, Highlands of Emerald Lake No. 1, the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City an agreement with D. S. Fabbro, which agreement shall be substantially the same as those agreements between the City and D. S. Fabbro for appraisals and acquisitions on Regent :Street and Jefferson Avenue.
