I u R E S O L U T I O N • N O. 3356 REG: yc : 4 /6/61 -7 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO TO PROVIDE FOR MAINTENANCE WORK TO BE PERFORMED BY THE CITY UPON IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED WITHIN REDWOOD VILLAGE SUB- DIVISION NO. 1, TRACT NO. 545, IN THE AMOUNT OF $6.77 WHEREAS, on the 19th day of June, 1945, the Board of Super- visors of the County of San Mateo adopted Resolution No. 1695 providing for the construction of certain street improvements in and for the Redwood Village Subdivision No. 1, Tract No. 545, by special assessment district proceedings; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the completion of said improvements, the territory included within said special assessment district became annexed to the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, the County now retains, by virtue of the assessments levied in said assessment proceedings, a surplus of funds in the amount of Six and 77/100 Dollars ($6.77) to be used for mainte- nance of the improvements constructed; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to enter into an agreement with the County of San Mateo for the expenditure of said surplus funds for the maintenance of the above mentioned improvements; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. That certain agreement, entitled "Agreement Between City of Redwood City and County of San Mateo for Maintenance of Public Im- provements Constructed Within Redwood Village Subdivision No. 1, Tract No. 545," by and between the City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo, a copy of which is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars as to the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved.
