REG : !rc : 3/13/61 -7 RE SOLUT ION NO. 3332 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF JEFFERSON AVENUE BETWEEN FRANKLIN AND ADAMS STREETS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain plans and specifications for the widening of Jefferson Avenue from Franklin Street to Adams Street; and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the doing of such work; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. Those certain specifications, entitled "General Speci- fications and Special Provisions for the Construction of M.C.S. Project No. 81 - Jefferson Avenue Widening - Unit 1 - Franklin Street to Adams Street in the City of Redwood City, California," and those certain plans, entitled "Jefferson Avenue Widening - Unit No. 1 - Franklin Street to Adams Street prepared by the City Engineer and on file in the office of the City Engineer, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the doing of such work in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain Notice to Contractors set forth in the above mentioned specifications, provided that said advertise- ment shall not be made until the Division of Highways, Department of Public Works, State of California, has approved said plans and spec if ications .
