REG :ek :2 /27/61 -7 <br />R E S 0 L U T I O N N 0. 3313 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PRO- <br />VISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, the <br />Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, the Planning <br />Commission has received and recommended approval of the applica- <br />tion of Arnold and Elizabeth Christen for an exception to the <br />provisions of Section 5.31 of said ordinance No. 631 to allow <br />the subdivision of the hereinafter described property into two <br />lots, both of which would have an area of 5,400 square feet <br />instead of the required 6,000 square feet, and both of which would <br />have a width of 45 feet instead of the required 50 feet; and, <br />WHEREAS, the property for which application to subdivide is <br />made is that certain real property located in the City of Redwood <br />City, County of San Mateo, State of California, on Redwood Avenue <br />known as: <br />Lots 27, 28 and 29 of Block 2 as shown on that map <br />entitled "Map of Redwood Oaks, San Mateo County, <br />California," filed in the office of the Recorder of <br />San Mateo County on March 30, 1912, in Book 8 of Maps <br />at p age 6; and, <br />WHEREAS, said applicant has submitted a map of the proposed <br />subdivision in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 631 <br />and said map has been recommended for approval by the Planning <br />Commission and has been reviewed by the Council of the City of <br />Redwood City; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported to <br />this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist <br />which affect said property; that the exception applied for is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property <br />rights of petitioner; and that - the granting of said exception will <br />not be detrimental to the public welfare or adversely affect other <br />property in the neighborhood; and, <br />
