• <br />REG : ek : 2/2 7/61 -7 <br />RE SOLUT I ON NO. 3312 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF <br />GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY STREETS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the State of California, <br />Department of Public Works, has previously executed, on August 12, <br />1960, an agreement concerning the expenditure of funds accruing <br />during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1961, and allocated under <br />Sections 194 and 2107 of the Streets and Highways Code; and, <br />WHEREAS, a second supplemental memorandum of agreement" <br />has been presented to be entered into with the State of California <br />in accordance with a project statement submitted by the City of <br />Redwood City for expenditure of the gas tax allocation to cities <br />for the fiscal year 1960 -61; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed this `second supplemental <br />memorandum of agreement" and project statement and wishes to <br />approve the agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That the above described project statement be and it is <br />hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the <br />gas tax allocation to cities, and that the above described agree- <br />ment be and the same is hereby approved and the mayor and the <br />city clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of the City <br />of Redwood City, said agreement to be binding upon the City <br />upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State. <br />
