L <br />c <br />:ES S O L U T I O N NO. 3308 <br />,�BSOLUTION SUPPORTING THE FORMATION OF THE <br />BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU FOR SAN MATE COUNTY <br />WqJE-i�AS, the Better Business Bureau of San Francisco,, the <br />Redwood City Tribune and other agencies and business firms and <br />businessmen in San Mateo Count have sponsored the formation of <br />a Better Business Bureau of San Mateo County; and <br />1,*�HEREAOS the office of the Better Business Bureau was of- <br />ficially opened on February 6, 1961, at the Hillsdale Southern <br />Pacific Depot at Hillsdale Avenue and El Camino Real in San Mateo; <br />and <br />VT1-1E11EAS,, the sponsors of the Better Business Bureau of San <br />Mateo County are deserving of recognition for their perception <br />in seeing the need for the formation of such a bureau. <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT iiEa""OLVED BY THEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That this Council does hereby give its support to the <br />Bet-ter Business Bureau of San Mateo County. <br />2. That this Council does hereby coi-unend the -Redwood Ci-tizy <br />Tribune and the other agencies and businessmen who have con-L-.ri- <br />buted so generously of their time and efforts in bringing about <br />the formation of the Better Business Bureau for San Mateo County. <br />
