RJC : ek : 2/3/61- 7 <br />r � <br />RE S GLUT I ON NO. 3302 <br />----- - --- -- -- <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FIRE CHIEF, CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, TO EXECUTE WAREHOUSE ISSUE SHEET AGREEMENTS <br />FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, OFFICE <br />OF CIVIL DEFENSE, <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br />to designate Joseph Lodi, Fire Chief of the City of Redwood City, <br />as an additional representative of the City to sign for and <br />accept surplus Federal property for civil defense purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS <br />That Joseph Lodi, Fire Chief of the City of Redwood City, <br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf <br />of the Civil Defense and Disaster Organization of the City of <br />Redwood City, Warehouse Issue Sheet agreements between the City <br />of Redwood City, Office of Civil Defense, and the State of <br />California, State Educational Agency for Surplus Property,, <br />relating to personal property to be acquired by the City of <br />Redwood City, Civil Defense and Disaster Organization; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; <br />That the City of Redwood City agrees to be bound by the <br />provisions, transfers, terms, conditions, restrictions, reserva- <br />tions and covenants as set forth in said Warehouse Issue Sheet <br />agreements; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; <br />That the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to send two certified copies of this resolution to <br />the California Disaster Office, for filing with said Disaster <br />Office and with the State Department of Education. <br />
