REG:yc:1/25/61 -7 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3299 <br />RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY KNOWN AS "HIGHLANDS <br />TERRITORY NO. 11" FROM EMERALD LAKE LIGHTING DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as "Highlands <br />Territory No. 11" was annexed to the City of Redwood City by Ordi- <br />nance No. 981, said annexation being effective on November 10, 1960; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, said area is included in the Emerald Lake Lighting <br />District; <br />NOW, THEREFORE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 19290 of the Streets <br />and Highways Code of the State of California, the hereinafter <br />described property known as "Highlands Territory No. 11" is hereby <br />declared withdrawn from the Emerald Lake Lighting District. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a copy of this <br />resolution with the State Board of Equalization, the San Mateo <br />County Assessor and the Emerald Lake Lighting District. <br />3. The withdrawal of the below described territory from the <br />Emerald Lake Lighting District shall be effective on the filing <br />of copies of this resolution pursuant to paragraph 2. <br />4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice to the <br />Emerald Lake Lighting District to divide District property and <br />funds pursuant to Section 19290 of the Streets and Highways Code. <br />5.
