RES 0LUTI0N N0. 3277 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br />MARSHALL STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />( JEFFERSON AVENUE TO MAIN STREET) <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, in open <br />session, on January 9, 1961, publicly open, examine, and declare <br />all sealed proposals or bids for doing all the work and making all <br />the improvements described in Resolution of Intention No. 3256 of <br />said Council, passed and adopted by said Council on December 5, 1960 <br />to which resolution reference is hereby made for further particu- <br />lars; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY RESOLVES as fol- <br />lows: <br />1. That said Council hereby rejects all said proposals or bads <br />for doing the work of making the improvements described in said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 3256, except that next herein mentioned, <br />and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and making said <br />improvements to the lowest, regular, responsible bidder, to wit: <br />Douglass & Woodhouse <br />at the prices named in their bid, to which bid reference is hereby <br />made for further particulars. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish a notice of <br />this award in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper (except <br />Sunday), published, printed and circulated in said City of Redwood <br />City -, and hereby designated for that purpose by the Council of <br />said City. <br />
