6.18 Page 32 F~TAMENDMENTTOTHEAGREEMffiNTBETWEENTHE REDWOOD CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT AND CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATION AND SAFETY (ASES) PROGRAM_ THIS AMENDMENT, entered into this 9th day of June, 2010, by and between the REDWOOD CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT (hereinafter called DISTRICT), a political . subdivision of the State of California, and the City of Redwood City (hereinafter called CONTRACTOR), W-I-I-N-E-S..S:E-T- H RCSD Contract # 200809-498 A WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Agreement for services to provide after school academic and enrichment programs, for Fair Oaks, Garfield, John Gill, Hawes, Hoover, Selby Lane and Taft Schools effective on July 1,2009, for a one-year period ending June 30,2010, for an amount not to exceed $ 808,044.55; and WHEREAS, the original term is still in existence, and the parties now desire to amend the Agreement to reduce the amount of the contract for Garfield School's BASE (180 School days) compensation by ($ 10,455) to a Garfield BASE of$117,045.00 for an amount not to exceed the total $ 797,589.55 on paragraph 11 COMPENSATION of the original agreement which states that: COMPENSATION The CONTRACTOR agrees to perform all the services of this agreement for an amount not to exceed the total $ 808,044.55, subject to contingency provision on section 11.
