RJC:ek:12/8/60-7 . 1" ..... .; REB.OLUT.!ON NO. 3264 RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR RESURFACING OF TENNIS COURTS AT COMMUNITY PARK AND MEZES PARK, REDWOOD CITY; APPROVING REVISED SPECIFICATIONS FOR SAID WORK; AND I AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH REVISED SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3242, adopted November 7, 1960, certain contract documents and specifications for the resur- facing of tennis courts at Community Park and Mezes Park, Redwood City, California, were approved and the City Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids for said work; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received on November 25, 1960; and, WHEREAS, Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City authorizes the City Council to reject any and all bids and to readvertise; and, WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council revised specifications for said work; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: I. All bids received for the resurfacing work of the tennis courts at Community Park and Mezes Park, Redwood City, are hereby rejected. 2. Revised specifications entitled "General Specifications and Special Provisions for the Resurfacing of Tennis Courts at Community Park & Mezes Park in the City of Redwood City, california," dated December 12, 1960 , prepared by the City Engineer and on file in the office of the City Engineer, are hereby approved. 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for said work in accordance with the revised specifications therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain "Notice to ContractorstJ> set forth in the above- mentioned specifications. * * *
