<br />~ <br /> <br />/, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RJC~:11/23/60-7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />!f o. 3251 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR STATE ADMINISTRATION OF LOCAL SALES <br />AND USE TAXES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Part 1.5, Division 2, of the Revenue <br /> <br />and Taxation Code, and the sales and use tax ordinance of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, the State Board of Equalization of the <br /> <br />State of California has presented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />for State collection and administration of local sales and use <br /> <br />taxes in the City of Redwood City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed such agreement and <br /> <br />desires to approve the same and authorize execution thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for State <br /> <br />Administration of Local Sales and Use Taxes," copy of which <br /> <br />is attached hereto marked Exhibit'~" and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and Ray A. Weymouth, <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City, is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
