RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR WATERPROOFING OF SEQUOIA RESERVOIRS AND AUTHORIZING READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 3248 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3228, adopted October 17, 1960, certain plans and specifications for the waterproofing of the two 4-million gallon reenforced concrete water tanks at the Sequoia Reservoirs were approved and the City Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids for said waterproofing: and WHEREAS, section 67 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City authorizes the City Council to reject any and all bids and to readvertisei and J WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an alter- native set of plans and specifications for the waterproofing of the two 4-million gallon reenforced concrete water tanks at the Sequoia Reservoirs: NOW, THEREFORE : BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. That all bids for the waterproofing of the two 4-million gallon reenforced concrete water tanks at the Sequoia Reservoirs submitted pursuant to Resolution No. 32~8 are hereby rejected. 2. That the ~evised plans and specifications for said water- proofing, which said revised plans and specifications are presently on file in the office of the City Engineer, are hereby approved. 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the waterproofing of said two 4-million gallon reenforced concrete water tanks at the Sequoia Reservoirs in accordance with the revised plans and specifications therefor,' said advertisement to be in the form of that certain "Notice to ContractorsCl set forth in the above mentioned specifications. * * *
