<br />;!. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:ll/2l/60-7 <br /> <br />RES 0 L U T 1. 0 N N O. <br /> <br />3246 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF TWO NEW <br />POLICE CARS: AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3234, adopted October 31, <br /> <br />1960, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of two new <br /> <br />four-door VB sedan automobiles for purposes of the Redwood City <br /> <br />Police Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Manager; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, FERRIS MILES EQUIPMENT CO., INC., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the inten- <br /> <br />tion and desire of this Council to award said bid to Ferris Miles <br /> <br />Equipment Co., Inc., and reject all other bids received; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ferris Miles Equipment Co., Inc., for the <br /> <br />furnishing of two 1961 four-door VB sedan automobiles to the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City, according to specifications heretofore approved <br /> <br />by Resolution No. 3234, at the price quoted in its proposal, to wit, <br /> <br />Two Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-six and 94/100 Dollars ($2,526.94), <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the furnishing of the above mentioned vehicles to the <br />City, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are <br /> <br />hereby rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
