<br />/ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />highway system of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. No building, structure, or other permanent improvements <br /> <br />shall hereafter be erected or placed within the official plan <br /> <br />lines designated on aforementioned map; provided, however, that <br /> <br />this resolution shall not apply to garden, agricultural crop <br /> <br />planting, fences, and non-permanent sprinkling and irrigation <br /> <br />structures. <br /> <br />4. The City Council of the City of Redwood City, upon the <br /> <br />recommendation of the City Planning Commission of said City, may <br /> <br />grant adjustments or variances from the strict application of the <br /> <br />provisions of paragraph 3, hereof, in the event the Planning Com- <br /> <br />mission shall find both of the following conditions to exist, <br /> <br />to wit: <br /> <br />(a) That there are special circumstances or <br />conditions attaching to the property of the applicant <br />upon which the proposed building structure or other <br />improvement is sought to be erected or placed; and <br /> <br />(b) The granting of the application is necessary <br />for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial prop- <br />erty rights of the applicants. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-2- <br />
