RE SO LU T.!.ON N o. 3240 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PROTEST TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS II ODDSTAD ANNEXATION NO. 1 If HAS NOT BEEN MADE BY OWNERS OF ONE-HALF OF THE VAL- UE OF PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHIN SUCH TERRITORY AS SHOWN BY THE LAST EQUALIZED ASSESSMENT ROLL, NOR BY THE OWNERS OF ONE-HALF OF THE VALUE OF PUBLICLY OWNED PROPERTY WITHIN SAID TERRITORY AS DETERMINED BY SAID COUNCIL BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: WHEREAS, on the 12th day of September , 19~, the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 3195 giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate upon its own motion the annexation to the City of Redwood City of that certain territory designated as II Oddstad Annexation No.1 II . , and WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds that a written description of the proposal to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Mateo County, California, on July 21 , 19~, and that said Boundary Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report on said proposed annexation as required by law, and that said Boundary Com- mission has approved the boundaries of said proposed annexation; and has received evidence showing and has found, and again finds, that the aforementioned action of the Council initiating the annexa- tion of the herein designated territory, upon its own motion, was not commenced until after said written description of the proposal for said annexation was filed with the Secretary of the San Mateo County Boundary Commission, and until after said Commission made, or caused to be made, its report and approved said boundaries; and WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence showing, and finds:
