P-1322 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SEDIMENT SAMPLING AND TESTING <br /> <br /> (SEA SURVEYOR, INC. ) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Port of Redwood City requires sediment sampling <br /> and testing for a proposed maintenance dredging work at the <br /> Municipal Yacht Harbor of the Port of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the estimated cost of performing such work was more <br /> than $5,000.00 but less that $10,000.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to solicitation of bids for the <br />performance of such work, three bids were received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sea Surveyor, Inc., is the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Sea Surveyor, Inc. for the performance of <br />sediment sampling and testing for proposed maintenance dredging <br />of the Redwood City Municipal Yacht Harbor dated 30 November 1989 <br />in. the total maximum amount of Thirteen Thousand Ninety-five and <br />No/100 Dollars ($13,095.00), including chemical testing work to <br />be subcontracted, is hereby accepted, and any and all <br />irregularities in said bid are hereby waived. <br /> <br /> 2. All other bids,, except the bid accepted in paragraph 1 <br />hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br /> 3. The President and Secretary of this Commission are <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest thereto, <br /> <br /> <br />
