<br />~. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:lO/14/60-7 <br /> <br />RES 0 L U T 1. 0 1'1 N O. <br /> <br />3229 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF NEW <br />AUTOMOBILE; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3215, adopted October 3, <br /> <br /> <br />1960, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a <br /> <br /> <br />1960 model V8, 2-door sedan automobile for purposes of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Police Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Manager; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BRAY MOTOR COMPANY, Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Bray Motor Company and reject <br /> <br />all other bids received; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE : <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Bray Motor Company, for the furnishing of a <br /> <br />1960 model V8, 2-door sedan automobile to the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, according to specifications heretofore approved by <br /> <br />Resolution No. 3215, at the price quoted in its proposal, to wit, <br /> <br />Two Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-two and 88/100 Dollars ($2,982.88), <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the furnishing of the above mentioned vehicle to the <br /> <br />City, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are <br /> <br />hereby rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
