RJC:yc:lO/5/60-7 ,..~ RE~OLUT.!ON N O. 3224 RESOLUTION VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTIO~ OF A PUBLIC SERVICE EASE~mNT vrnEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 (commencing at section 50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood city has, by its Resolution No. 3202, adopted September 19, 1960, declared its intention to vacate a portion of an easement designated as such on that map entitled IIEbener Tract,1I recorded September 14, 1956, in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County in Book 46 of Maps at page 4i and WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice has been pub- lished and the portion of the easement to be vacated has been poajr.edi and vmEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; NOW, THEREFORE : BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RED~vOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds (a) that the hereinafter described portion of a public service easement has not been used for public service easement purposes since the date of its designation as such and that (b) the easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. 2. The portion of the easement to be vacated is described as follows: A portion of Lot 6, Block 2, as designated on that map entitled ,uEbener Tract,,~t 'recorded September 14, 1956, in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, in Book 46 of Maps at page 4, more particularly described as follows: All of that certain 10.00 foot public utilities ease- ment lying southerly of and adjacent to the northerly line of said Lot 6.
