N o. 3219 RES 0 L UTI 0 N RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS MARSHALL STREET IMPROVEMENTS (JEFFERSON AVENUE TO MAIN STREET) RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that the public convenience and necessity require, and that it intends to order in accordance with the procedure set out in the Improvement Act of 1911 as embodied in the Streets and Highways Code of the state of California, as amended, the following work to be done and improvements to be made in and for said City, to wit: '~7:tJ~,;;f~ ';?'; \ !/,):' ': m( SH son y the n therell1 'of. three-mch (3") .p1ant- mixed surfacing, fifty-six feet (56') in width on a six,-inch (6") crusher- run rock base over twelve inches (12") of imported' embank,ment sub- base, concrete curb, gutter, mono- lithic 'sidewalk',' and standard com- mercial driveway approaches on each side thereof.. The raising or lowering ,of, aU:. manholes, valves. larnpholes,.o clean out 'frames and covers,' .etc. to conforlu. to the grades established herein. and the construction of all necessary ap- purtenances thereto. '. (2) The construction ~and instal- lation of reinforced'concrete catch- basins and necessary fifteen-inch (15") reinforced ,concrete pipe for the drainage system and .all other necessary appurtenances to com- plete the storm drainage system. (3) The construction and instal- lation of the street lighting system complete with four (4) electroliers and four (4) future stubs, and all necessary appurtenances to com- plete the street lighting system. (4) The removal of all- trees, curbs. gutters. sidewalks, barri- cades, driveways. headers and all other obstructions ill the Une of the work.
