<br />F.. <br />.-:- <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />1\ v. 3217 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF ~UBLIC CONV~NIEi\jCE AND ::iZCESSITY <br />rvlARSHALL STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />(JEFFERSON AVENUE TO MAIN STREET) <br /> <br />'~iHEREA3, on September 19 , 1960 , the Council of <br />the 01 t;y of Red\.Jood C1 ty ado:~)ted a resolution-o-r preliminary <br />determination to make public imj)rovements in the City of Red-v'lood <br />C1 t:y-, being Resolution No. ...31.9.Q..__ of said Council, 1 to construct <br />certain public improvements more particularly descrioed therein, <br />and did fix therein this date as the time and nlace when and where <br />any and all ?ersons interested may a)pear and ~how cause, if any <br />they have, why the City Council should not find and determine that <br />the ~)ublic convenience and nec8ssi ty require the iml)rOVements <br />described and referred to in eald resolution without compliance <br />with the Special Assessment, Investi~ation, Limita~ion and Majority <br />Protest Act of 1931; ~nd J <br /> <br />vIHEREAS notice of the adoDtion of said resol~tion and of said <br />time and place of hearing was given by the City Clerk by publica- <br />tion and posting for the time and in the manner provided in said.. <br />resolution and Ordinance No. 515 of the City of Redwood City, as <br />~ppears from the affidavits on file with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />'~rrlERE.AS no persons objecting to the undertaking of said pro- <br />ceedings without first complying with the provisions of said <br />5"980ic.l Asoessrnent, Investigation, Limit~'.t~on, and Majority Protest <br />Act of 1931 have filed written objections thereto with the City <br />Clerk et or bef6re the time fixed for this hearing by persons <br />lnter-8sted, oitvning or ho.ving an interest in real r1ro!,)erty ~"i thin <br />the proposed assessment district, bearing their slgn8.tures, ~ a. <br />descri1tion of their property, and a statement of the pRture of <br />their interest therein; and <br /> <br />~'lHE..."R.E.AS all ~)er80ng he.va been given 8.n opportuni ty,.to be and <br />were fully heard, and said Council b~s duly considered any and all' <br />obj ections and })rotests made, and the se.id pro:?osed im1;:>rovements <br />and the public convenience e.nd necesei ty for making the same; <br /> <br />NOJ, TH~EFORE) IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council of Red- <br />wood City, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That public convenience and necessity require the <br />improvements described in said Resolution No. 3198 <br />. -- <br /> <br />2. That any and {).ll objections and protests made pursuant <br />to said resolution be, and the SeIDe are, hereby overruled and <br />denied. <br /> <br />3. That the im1)rOVements described in said resolution be <br />made under and pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act <br /> <br />of 1911 as embod~ed in the Streets and Highways Code of the state <br /> <br />of Qalifornia. as amendeq.
