P-1304 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR LUMBER TERMINAL <br /> IMPROVEMENT (LUMBER TERMINAL, PARCEL II)~ RE3ECTINQ ALL <br /> OTHER BIDS; AND ORDER RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. P-1}O3, adopted October 26, 1988, <br /> call for bids was advertised for LUMBER TERMINAL IMPROVEMENTS, PARCEL II <br /> at the Port of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and opened; and <br /> <br /> WHEREP~S, 0'GRADY PAVING, INC. is the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the construction of such public work; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Thebidof 0'GRADY PAVING, INC. ,dated November 14, 198,8 <br /> One Hundred 51xteen ~nousand, I~ine Hundred <br />in the amount of Eighty-Three Dollars and Forty Cents(1'16,983.,4~r <br /> <br />LUMBER TERMINAL IMPROVEMENTS, PARCEL II in accordance with the <br />specifications therefore, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for the performance of said work. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informa]ities or patent clerical errors in the aforementioned <br />bid are hereby waived. <br /> <br /> ~. The Port Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into and <br />execute on behalf of the City of Rbdwood City, acting by and through its Board of <br />Port Commissioners that certain agreement entitled, "Agreement," (form dated <br />November 15~ 19818by and between the City of Redwood City acting by and <br />through the Board of PortCommis~sioners, and 0'Grady Paving, I,nCor the <br />performance of said work, a copy of which agreement is presently on file in the <br />office of the Port Manager, to which reference is hereby made for full particulars <br />concerning the terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br /> <br />
