<br />---""') <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:7/8/60-7 <br /> <br />.. - --4'~. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N o. 3143 <br /> <br />Adopted 7/11/60 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS <br />OF A,PUBLIC UTILITY EASE}1ENT <br /> <br />vlliEREAS, the City Engineer has advised this Council that the <br /> <br /> <br />hereinafter described portions of a public utility easement are <br /> <br />no longer necessary or needed for public municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the easement portions which are no longer necessary <br /> <br />or needed for public municipal purposes are portions of those <br />easements Hhich were designated as such on that map entitled "Farm <br />Hill No. 1, n recorded January 23, 1956, in the office of the <br />Recorder of San Mateo County in Book 44 of Maps at page s 17 and <br />18 and have not been used as such since that date; and <br /> <br />~mEREAS, said portions are unnecessary for present or prospec- <br /> <br />tive public use; and <br /> <br />~lliEREAS, the Paci~ic Gas and Electric Company and the Pacific <br /> <br /> <br />Telephone and Telegraph Company have signified their a~proval to <br /> <br /> <br />the abandonment of said portions of said easement; and <br /> <br />WHElffiAS, Article 5 (commencing at Section 50430) of Chapter 2, <br />Part 1, Division 1, Title 5 of the Government Code provides a pro- <br /> <br />cedure for the vacation of easements by local authorities; <br /> <br />No~r, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDHOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLO~rS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares <br /> <br />its intention to abandon the hereinafter described portions of a <br /> <br />public utility easement pursuant to the aforementioned Government <br /> <br />Code provisions. <br /> <br />2. The abovementioned portions of a public utility easement, <br /> <br /> <br />a plan of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, ~re <br /> <br /> <br />described as follows: <br />
