<br />. <br /> <br />RJC:ek:6/27/60-7 <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUT1.0N <br /> <br />NO. <br /> <br />3134 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION URGING BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SAN MATEO <br />COUNTY TO PROCEED WITH EXTENSION OF EDGEWOOD ROAD <br />WESTERLY FROM ITS PRESENT TERMINUS TO STATE HIGHWAY <br />ROUTE NO. 1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has been <br /> <br />advised that the Board of supervisors of San Mateo County are <br /> <br />considering the question of whether or not Edgewood Road in the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo should be extended westerly completely <br /> <br />across the County of San Mateo to connect with state Highway <br /> <br />Route No.1; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Council of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City that such extension is necessary and desirable; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of San <br /> <br />Mateo be and they are hereby urged to approve and proceed with <br /> <br />appropriate action to extend Edgewood Road westerly from its <br /> <br />present terminus across the County of San Mateo to a point on <br /> <br />State Highway Route No.1. <br /> <br />2.
