(l 0;,,*., CIJ RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEltmNT BETWEEN CLYDE HENRY, DOING BUSINESS AS FRIENDLY ACRES l-vATER COMPANY, AND CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, FOR USE OF YI1ATER FACILITIES TO BE INSTALLED IN JONES COURT IMPROVE~mNT DISTRICT; AND I AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF ON BEHALF OF CITY liHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, hereinafter referred to as nCi ty, tl presently owns and operates municipal \vater facili ties for the transmission and sale of water to inhabitants of City, and intends to construct additional water distribution facilities in the Jones Court Improvement District; and, VJHEREAS, Clyde Henry, doing business as Friendly Acres Water Company, hereinafter referred to as ltCompany,1t is a private public utility engaged in the business of acquiring, transmitting and selling water to the inhabitants of City; and, vffiEREAS, upon completion of the abovementioned public water transmission facilities intended to be installed by City in the abovementioned district, Company desires to utilize the same by connecting such public facilities to its system for the purpose of supplying the properties included within the district with water services; and, 1^IHEREAS, it is ,the intention and desire of this Council to grant revocable permission to Company to utilize the public water facilities to be installed in the Jones Court Improvement District, subject to certain designated conditions; and, WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agree- ment between said Company and City granting revocable permission to Company for the use of such water facilities to be installed in the Jones Court Improvement District by City, subject to certain designated conditions; and, \rVHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council t,o approve said agreement and authorize its execution on behalf of the City;
