6.1 B <br /> Page 13 <br /> Attachment 3 <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> BAY AREA LEGAL AID(BAYLEGAL) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of , 2010, by and <br /> between the C1TY OF REDWO�D CITY, a charter city and a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> California ("City") and BAY AREA LEGAL AID (BAYLEGAL}, a California nonprofit organization <br /> ("Contractor"); <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides legal assistance and information for par�ies seeking to represent <br /> themselves in restraining order actions in a domestic violence situation; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested �nancial assistance in order to conduct the program for <br /> residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011; and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of Ten <br /> Thousand and No/100 Dollars($10,000.0�); <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Ten Thousand and <br /> No/100 Dollars ($10,000.00} for exclusive use by Contrac#or during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> 2010, and ending June 30, 2011, solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 solely <br /> for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives} attached hereto and by this <br /> reference incorporated herein. <br /> 3. CHANGES TO PROGRAM. No changes in the Program described in this agreement which <br /> are funded by the financial assistance provided under paragraph 1 shall be made without the prior written <br /> consent of City. <br /> 4. PAYMENTS. Contractor shall keep detailed and accurate records of all expenditures <br /> made and expenses incurred which are funded under this agreement. Payments of funds allocated <br />
