6.1 B <br /> Page 25 <br /> Attachment 3 �I� <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FRIENDS FOR YOUTH <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of , 2�10, by and <br /> between the CITY OF REDWO�D CITY, a charter city and a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> California("City") and FRIENDS FOR YOUTH, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor"}; <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides one-to-one mentoring relationships for youth-in-need with adult � <br /> volunteers; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program for <br /> residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011; and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to aUocate to Contractor the sum of Five , <br /> Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-Seven and No/100 Dollars($5,767.00�; <br /> NOW,THEREF4RE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Con#ractor the sum of Five Thousand <br /> Seven Hundred Sixty-Seven and No/100 Dollars ($5,7fi7.�0) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br /> fiscal year commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011, solely for the purposes described in <br /> paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 solely <br /> for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" {Contract Objectives) attached hereto and by this <br /> re#erence incorporated herein. <br /> 3. CHANGES TO PROGRAM. No changes in the Program described in this agreement which <br /> are funded by the financial assistance provided under paragraph 1 shall be made without the prior written <br /> consent of City. <br /> 4. PAYMENTS. Contractor shall keep detailed and accurate records of all expenditures <br /> made and expenses incurred which are funded under this agreement. Payments of funds allocated <br />
