_ <br /> 6.1 B <br /> Page 37 <br /> Attachment 3 <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF SAN MATE4 COUNTY <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of , 201�, by and <br /> between the C1TY 4F REDWUOD CITY, a charter city and a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> � <br /> California ("City") and LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF SAN MATE� COUNTY, a California nonprofit �!, <br /> organization ("Contractor"); <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> � WHEREAS, Contractor provides high quality legal assistance to low income residents of San <br /> Mateo County in almost every area of civil law;and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program for <br /> residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1,2010, and ending June 30, 2011; and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of Ten <br /> Thousand and No1100 Dollars($10,000.00); <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate#o Contractor the sum of Ten Thousand and <br /> No/100 Dollars ($10,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> 2010, and ending June 30, 2011, solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 solely <br /> for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto and by this <br /> reference incorporated herein. <br /> 3. CHANGES TO PROGRAM. No changes in the Program described in this agreement which <br /> are funded by the financial assistance provided under paragraph 1 shall be made without the prior written <br /> consent of City. <br /> 4. PAYMENTS. Contractor shalf keep detailed and accurate records of all expenditures <br /> made and expenses incurred which are funded under this agreement. Payments of funds allocated <br />
